I'm not for regular users being able to delete a post. We can delete teh contents of that post, but I have seen many times where someone will come on and say something, people start responding, and the initiator then goes back and totally changes the original, or deletes it if they can. Makes it a lot more confusing to people coming to the thread. At least with the edit, you can tell something was changed, though you may not know what.
Anyway, not a big deal to me even if I did want to delete my post, I'd just edit it down to "."

i dont understand the desire to delete your post...i mean, technically, you already can...just go to edit, and change it to say something else...or if it is something that bad, and it HAS to be removed, ask one of your friendly DF staff...

We remove double posts when we catch them. And we are on top of those who double posts all the time.~Amanda
