I have the e-mail notification, yet the e-mails seem to come in around 2:22am rather than instant.

This could be in part due to your email provider. I've seen several instances with email providers who's service just doesnt seem to mesh well with the auto notifications from forums.

My advice would be to try a secondary email, and see if it changes any. If it does not, then it could be the forum software's problem, not your email.

Check to make sure you don't have the "daily email notifications" selected in your user CP. It could be that daily notifications is selected and that is just the time they happen to reach you. I could be wrong, just another thing to look into before you go through the trouble of making a whole new email account.

You may have to check your current subscriptions in your profile. I can turn off any new ones, but if you have open subscriptions still in your profile, I cannot do anything about those..

You'll need to do the following:

Click USER CP

Find Subscriptions in your option list on the left side

Click List Subscriptions

This should display what threads you have subscribed to. Since it was originally set to auto subscribe, I'd imagine you have a bunch. Check mark all that you do not want, and click the delete subscription option in the drop down menu. That'll remove them for good.

Hope that helps!
