I am wondering if anyone else encounters super slow scrolling when reading a topic. It takes time to load the images i think on the right and seems to skip when scrolling to the bottom of a post. I'm running a AMD Semptron 2800+ with 512 DDR 3200 and it is doing this. I have a 32MB graphics card.
Any suggestions? Just wondering why this happens on this forum but not others.
I think its becuase some people have huge signatures on here. I found one animated signature that is 143KB! That seems a little unnessecary for a forum.
Yes I do. It only happens with a forum gets rather long. And even though everything is loaded when I scroll it uses 100% of CPU and is sluggish. Almost like looking at a huge PDF. Probobly becuase all the signatures add up to 1-2MB's a page.

I'm running 128Mb DDR with an AMD 1600+, all on dialup. Worse then your situation. I do get the occasional time-outs from pages loading slowly. The only pages that are slow, as you put it, are threads with multiple big pictures (which is rare), .gif files and videos. Keeping a low amount of windows open helps solve that problem though.
