well i didnt. BUT there are many commodore people do the internet with a commodore. even a NEW commodore. i cant remember where it is. but if you try ill bet you can find it. i have a 128 that has the power off, turn it on and in 20 seconds have a typed text printing. do that with a pc. allso not to take a way from Steve jobs or Steve Woz, the first apples used a commodoes CPU. MOS 6503 ad. cause it was the cheapest compared to a 8088 intel. there was not many good CPUs back then.

My first PC was a Commodore 64, then I sold it when the 128 came out, then built my own IBM clone off an NEC chip that was a whopping 7.12 Mhz. when everybody I knew had an acutal IBM PC with the 8088 at 4.77 Mhz. Been in the PC world ever since...

to hammer a Commodore is NOT a PC, even though a 128 says personal computer on it, most Commodore people dont call it a PC. strange. a Apple 2e is NOT a pc. Commodore was building business computers before most other computer co. i even wroght a program to calculate changing jets and rods and know how to change both and know how much change was done. on a carter 4 bdl . you may not know, but one can not change both the jet and the rod and be able to guess what the change is. all you have to do calculate the different in dia sizes. my son wroght a cal for a PC. but cant find it right now

My first computer was a Tandy TRS80. A school surplus machine. I'd love to get a TRS80 III like I used to have and put all new hardware in it. That Model III was a good looking machine. It still looks modern to me.

I had a commodore 64, then a 128, I ran a BBS on a 128 with a 1200 baud modem, wow it was fast. I even had an Amiga 500, loved that thing.
