Is there anyway we could have an instant chat room? Mabye a room for each forum? Just wondering. -Tyler

 

The chat feature was an option, but due to lack of use it was removed. Most members never used chat so posting is the only chatting capability.

why not a type of IM instead of chat. is that feasible.

 

If you were going to do/re-start a chat style window. You should have it placed on your main page. Let people actually see people chatting and it might get used. Lots of places either remove these or dont do them because no one really is comfortable having to go thru like 10 pages to get it to work.

I don't know how you did your chat window in the past so I am not including DF in that comment.

 

when they had it you clicked "chat room" (it was a link) and it brought you to ap age where either you typed in your password or it did if for u then it put u in the chat, and there was usually no one in there


i chatted with a few people in there from time to time

but aim chats are more fun, right guys?
