Default Gas additive-marine oil with TCW3

Heard recently , from another forum that marine 2 cycle oil with TCW3 is the best thing since sliced bread..one oz. to 5 gal gas..after tank or two suppose to see noticeable difference in idle and maybe even slight mpg increase..They say run a tank or two before judging. Anyone done this?

There have been many studies on this. There are always articles coming up on popular auto websites and magazines about the benefits of both Acetone and TCW3 in gasoline.

Since I've had bass boats for years and have plenty of TCW3 around, I've been tempted to try it, but everytime I am about to, I'll read an article about it either having no benefit or even being bad for car/truck engines.

I've read "test data" both ways, so I dunno. Kinda afraid to be a "guinea pig"...
