Hey, I'm looking for some assistance. My '99 will start and run well until I step on the gas. When I step on the gas it just straight up dies on me. The check engine light is on, but I'm not quite sure what is wrong with it. Any suggestions are appreciated.

 

i had the same problem with my 2002 chrysler 300m, they said it was the relay switch than 20,000 miles later had to get a new transmission put at 87,000 miles. My chrysler 300m with the new tranny has 5yr warranty or upto 100,000 miles.

My 2002 Dodge Intrepid which starts to go into limp mode, after driving fine the check engine light comes on than pressing the gas pedal makes the RPM sky rocket, was adv solenoid had to be replaced, hopefully its ready today for pickup

I love both cars unfortunately the Chrysler 300m ,is getting a bodyshop make over
