Default to junk or not to junk?

I have a 1997 Chrysler Intrepid sport 3.5 liter. whats happening is the car used to start and run for a few minutes and then just die with out no warning no lights on the dash, anything. what we noticed was when we tried to start it the head lights flashed. SO now the only way it seems to start is if you lock the car with the remote and un lock it about 4 times and on the 4th time unlocking it the car makes a hum noise then starts. my friend had the same issue with the car and he said it was the starter. The wiring is great all new along with a new computer and fuel injectors. I think its the security system. Can anyone help me before I give up and say good bye to this awesome car?

Thanks

sounds like the alarm system may be malfunctioning.

a quality scanner (not a code reader) would be the tool needed for diagnosis. it is definitely NOT the starter causing the problem

if you were near me, I'd buy the car
