Hello, I don't know if the air filter in this car has ever been changed, but when I tried to remove the plastic cover, the nut that is molded into the underside of the housing turns as I turn one of the bolts. I have tried holding it through the housing with vice grips but I can't get a good enough grip on it to unscrew the screw. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

drill the bolt off, and replace the bolt and the u-clip on the bottom.
