which engine does your car have? If it is a 2.7L V6, you might have an oil sludge problem a brewing. The best advice I have is to switch it over to synthetic.

If not, when was the last time you had an oil filter change. It is possible that you might have a defective filter if it was recent or that the filter might have failed. An oil filter is cheap and easy to replace. My advice would be to get a better quality oil filter with mid range efficiency (Wix/Napa Gold, Purolator Classic, or Mopar/Motorcraft equivalent) and see if it improves or go for complete over kill (Napa Platinum, Purolator Platinum, FRAM Ultra, Amsoil, Royal Purple) which flow very well and are very efficient. A filter that is extremely efficient using cellulose based media (Purolator PureOne) might not flow well enough, and some cheap designs (STP, Microguard, AC Delco "-E" series, Supertech) I have heard of people having problems as their by-pass system is lacking at best.

If not that, you might have an oil pump problem, in which you would need a more professional opinion

Wat engine do you have? How many miles are on it? How often do you change the oil? Do you change the filter at the same time? What oil and filter do you use?

In the absence of any other information, I would suggest an oil and filter change. If that doesn't solve your problem, you can check the oil pressure with a gauge to ensure your sending unit is good. If the oil pressure really is low, it might be time to drop the pan for a bottom end inspection.
