i just bought a 2010 journey and noticed that the dvd only works in park is there a bypass. i read that there is one for mygig but didnt know if there was one for uconnect i have the media center 830N 6-cd/dvd/hdd/nav radio

There is a parking break bypass. Your local shop or dealer can help you if willing. Some consider it too much risk on the business part.
