Journey shimmy no load
Hey All,
Was talking to my dad tonight about his company Journey that I may be purchasing as he just had to order a new company car. He said last time he took it in for front end alignment, they said it didn't have enough adjustment due to the weight in the back. So they wanted to unload all of his tools to align it. Which we can't see how much that really helped...He is an MRI Service Engineer, his tools have to be non-magnetic and as strong as steel, so they are made out of titanium, which is very lightweight, so the back end being kinda full of those, can't be ALL that much. I'd say a family going on a camping trip would weigh much more...Anyway, we kinda thought that maybe one of the tires is effed up or out of balance or something causing the shimmy when he is running "light". We're just trying to pinpoint this problem so he can take it in and have it fixed while it's still on the company dollar. Any ideas on what it may be so we can speciifically ask that it be checked out, instead of saying, here's the keys, find the problem. Since they'll most likely want to flash the computer and call it good. Sorry for rambling...any help will be greatly appreciated.
