09 Headlights
Anyone have issues with really dim/crappy headlights on their Journey? Both low and high beam. I have tried replacing with higher wattage bulbs but still can hardly see out the front of this thing. I drive around with my high beams on and people dont even flash me. I am currently running 100 watt bulbs in the high beams and 80 watt in the low beams but still can hardly see the road in front of me. Checked the aim as well. Seems to be a design flaw with the reflectors. I guess my next option is installing HID's but dont know if these would work well with regular reflector housings....anyone have the same issue or other ideas? Mine is an SE so there are no fog lights, that was another route I could take is to add foglights but then I have to get the stealer to flash toe computer so they would work....

I've only driven my mom's at night once. About an hour and a half trip when I took her to a relatives funeral. I didn't notice where the headlights were any worse than the ones in my Grand Cherokee. She hasn't complained, but it wouldn't surprise me if she's never driven it after dark.
Don't waste your $ on the fogs though, you almost can't tell they are on when you switch them on...

HID will be the way to go! Besides, HID is almost as cheap as a quality Light bulb nowaday.
Keep running 80-100watts bulb will Melt the Wiring harness or the Head Lamp Bulb inlet, they are too hot.
Or you can Install an Off-Road light rack on ur Roof like a Jeeps.
