Default 2009 Dodge Journey Brake Light help!!!????

I have a 09 journey and all the bulbs are good and the park lights all come on.But when i press the brakes the lights wont come on.The only one that comes on is the small light on the little spoiler. I checked the fuse diagram but i cant find the brake light fuse location.Does anyone know where the fuse for it located? i checked all the fuses for the park lights m17 and m18 and there good.

Remove the bulbs and clean the contacts real good.

Its not a matter of dirty contacts because all the parklights come on and all the fuses for the lights a fine, even the brake switch fuse is ok. I am thinking it is the brake switch itself but how would that explain the little spoiler brake light still coming on.

It is a dual filament bulb. There are separate contacts for the park lights and brake lights in the same socket and on the same bulb. Our 09 did the same thing. It was a contact on one of the bulbs that somehow bent to the side and was not making contact. The park lights worked fine, just no brake light. Just another place to look.

I've checked the contacts, its not them, also it wouldn't explain why both would not work at the same time, i am going to have to take it to an auto electrician afterall, hope it will be just a small problem.

I would suggest that those lights use a common ground
for the 2 of them while the 3rd uses ground thru tailgate.
Check the wire loom to the tailgate and/or put in another
ground line for the lights that don't come on.
Most systems keep constant voltage to lamps and switch
ground legs off/on.
