Just bought a new Journey and am having issues with the electronics. I am getting a loud clicking noise through the speakers after starting and the speakers all stop working except one rear speaker. Any ideas
most ppl will recommend send it to the dealership, you have waranty. Not a lot of ppl have these cars yet to tell you "common failure" on the car.
But need more info, you have a base model or Premium sound system with 8.5 inch Touch screen? what Trim level is ur car?
Yeah its headed for the dealership. I was just checking to see if it was a common glitch with Dodge electronics. It has the premium sound system with the 8.5 inch panel, btw.
My Audio has stopped working on phone and Radio/Sat. Headed for dealership for diagnostics but scheduled a week out...... 3700 miles with no sound and squealing breaks.... so much for new feeling safer...

They have a recall/RRT on the amplifier for ur radio no sound issue. Call ur dealership again, ask them to run ur VIN and see if it applies to ur car. If it does, ask them to order the amplifier b4 u go in, so u do not have to go in twice.
sometimes disconnecting the battery or the Amplifier, or pulling the amplifier fuse for 10 second will get ur sound back. But I am not sure if it is a good idea to go into the dealership with a "working radio".
Dealership said AMP lost connection and had to be reset. Started having issues with air conditioner which evidently also was linked into same system. Asked if this would happen again... " shouldn't" was the response. Ready for a new car without issues.
