We have a Journey 2.4SXT from 2008. The wheels/tires are 215/65R16 can I replace them for R/T wheels 225/55R19?

The diameter is not equal:
16" (406,4mm) + 0,65*215(139,75mm) total 546,15mm
19" (482,6mm) + 0,55*225 (123,75mm) total 606,35mm

Will they fit in the wheel housing?

I do know that the tires are hard to get. I can not find other wheels 18" (5x127) here in the Netherlands.

Yes you should be able to do the swap. Double check the lug pattern first. The larger wheels and tires will probably drag that 2.4l down on the acceleration and fuel economy, though. Which do you prefer? Pretty, or functional.
