SXT 4" screen, unit does not remember eq settings after turning car off. Is this normal? Are the settings dependent upon the source?

 

I checked mine today regarding yours resetting the equalizer
and mine does not do it,same settings that I set 6 months ago.

 

I would have the dealer look into the problem you are having.

 

Hmmmmmm............ i think mine forgets the settings time to time.

 

We have a 2012 Journey SXT. We had the same problem, ours also would blare the volume when starting the car. The dealership tried to patch it and then decided to replace the radio altogether. That has been fixed, but now the radio is buggy when reading music on my USB drive. If I go to any feature other than Folder view, it does not show all of my music. When in "shuffle" mode, it actually "prefers" RHCP (Red Hot Chili Peppers) over any other artist and will constantly bring up an RHCP song literally 3-4 songs then I will get a different artist. Sometimes I will get two non-RHCP songs then it will throw out 2-3 more RHCP songs. Kinda funny when you think about it.

 

We were told last week, 4/19, by dealer that Dodge is aware of problem ans should have radio softawre upgrade available in 7-10 days.
