Hi, new here, our 09 rear LH door lock will no longer function, it will on occasion, but most of the time not, I am assuming that it is the actuator that is the cause. can anyone step me through checking this out? And replacing it if needed?

REMOVAL

1. Remove the door trim panel.
2. Remove the door module assembly.
3. Remove the latch assembly from the rear of the door module by disengaging the clips.
4. Disconnect the latch cable and rods from the latch assembly.
