2009 dodge journey drivers door control
AHHH, the answer is simple. I have had this problem recur every 6 months or so since I purchased the car new. I have had this problem to 2 different dealerships as well as independant mechanics. I have had modules replaced, reprogramed controls, batteries disconnected and every thing else you can think of. The dealer now wants me to replace the harness for 580 bucks. (I have talked to people who this has not worked for.)
THE SOLUTION. IN THE FUSE BOX ABOVE THE BATTERY THE FRONT MOST, DRIVERS SIDE 25A FUSE, THE ONE THAT SAYS 'DRIVERS DOOR" CONTROLLS. PULL IT, SET IT DOWN AND HAVE A CUP OF COFFEE. REPLACE AND YOUR WINDOWS WILL AGAIN WORK FINE. REPEAT THIS 5 MIN STEP EVERY 6 MONTHS AS NEEDED. PUT THE 580 TOWARDS A VACATION.
