Exclamation Anti theft system

I have a 2010 Journey. Today after stopping at a gas station I came out and when I opened the door The horn started blowing and the lights started flashing. Pressing the panic button would not stop it. After about 3 mins. it finally did stop. When I tried to start my vehicle it wouldn't start...When I opened the door, the horn and lights went crazy again. It seems it's a problem with the security system. I know I can reset the system, but how? can someone tell me how?

It has been my experience that on the newer
Chrysler vehicles(computer controlled) that
disconnecting the battery for abt 30 minutes
will reset many of the strange occurences
that happen.

I called dealer. I was told to disconnect negative battery wire, wait 5 minutes, then reconnect. It worked, but not right away. I called service manager again, and was told there is a problem with the 2010 Journey 2.4. They are waiting on a reply back from Chrysler. According to steak59 there is a software update for the TIPM. I"ll check that out.
