Default bluetooth

I had a Bluetooth added to my dodge journey American value plan 2013. but when they installed it I lost the ability to use the usb port and alxilrty port. they told me that is how it had to be. another question when they installed the Bluetooth was it suppose to be programed into the uconnect.

Who installed the Bluetooth? What brand? What exactly was installed? Uconnect already is Bluetooth equipped so if you had uconnect from the factory you would not need to install aftermarket Bluetooth. Please explain more what was done and what options your car came with.

The journey we got didn't have the bluetooth in it. So we payed more to have one installed. They said they order it thru mopar. So when I read about it in the owners manual I thought it would be programed into the uconnet.
