Default Help! 2012 journey interior lights flashing

My interior lights have been flashing for hours now and won't stop. The car is locked and not on and they are still flashing. I started the car and they still didn't stop. I had to get home so I drove like that and they still didn't stop. The screen is beeping and sometimes says the key ha left the car but I was in it driving. Also, it kept blinking saying the driver door was open but again I was driving. Help please!!! It I still doing this even after 8 hours!!! My battery is going to die!!

Definitely an electronic glitch - get it to a dealer.
Having said that a possible self/quick fix is to
disconnect the car battery for about 10 minutes
as in these computer controlled cars it sometimes
reboots everything.

I don't have anything after market. The lights flashed for about 12 hours total. Then it stopped and my battery wasn't dead, thankfully. It hasn't happened since. Also, when I first got the car, my radio would just start scanning stations without me roughing anything. It went on for weeks and I finally got it to a dealer and of course it stopped right away so they couldn't help me. This car is new and I don't understand why it's having stupid issues. I'm worried something bigger is going to go wrong soon and I could get hurt maybe.

Well, there are quite a few Computer Software update that fixes a bunch of stupid glitches, You should tell your dealer to make sure every computer is updated to the latest software.

Including the Radio Software that requires a physical CD to update.

Sometimes I do wonder if new cars nowadays runs on Microsoft Windows operation system. lol

The Journeys had past issues with flimsy door harness wiring, but they DID beef it all up after the recall in 2009, and the interior upgrading they did on newer models

BUT.... I have run into a couple recently where INSIDE the door, there is a bend in the harness that is rubbing on the door shell. It starts out very intermittent and progresses to the crazy type things you're describing. The tiny, tiny spot i've found rubbing was really insignificant looking but all it takes is ONE tiny sliver of copper touching to cause the havoc. It can't be seen unless the harness is pulled through and out the door shell and inspected.
