Any ideas on why when I hit load disk nothing happens? Cd changer doesn't work and neither does the DVD player then. I can hook up a DVD player and change the aux (I think that's what you call it) and the screen on the DVD player works but I'm tired of having the DVD player sitting in the seat and having to try and mess with it to get a movie going. Any ideas??

 

Does the disk go in and the CD/DVD will not play or is it not going into the slot at all? If it is not going in at all, can you tell if anything is stuck in the slot that can be preventing the CD/DVD to load?

 

It's a 6 disc changer and it will not load at all. Nothing seems to be stuck.

 

Do you have any cd's already loaded in the changer? What is the sales code for the radio? It should be listed on the lower right side of the radio faceplate.

I bought a 09 Journey a few months ago. I thought the CDs I tried to play were bad. I finally bought two brand new CDs and Im getting the disc read error. Is there a recall for this. Would this be covered under my extended warranty?

That's a question you should ask your servicing dealer.

 

My DVD player just quit working with no problems leading to its demise. It still accepts both CDs and DVDs but I always get an error message. Any ideas on what the problem may be?

 

I was having the same problem, same car. I turned my car off, pressed eject, then load and it asks you to load disc, load it then turn your car back on.
