Have anyone else experience this issue and found a solution. I really need help.

thanks
Does this vehicle have a/c? I had a 1989 dodge Dakota with the same problem. I noticed that the compressor was always engaged no matter if all heating, defrosting, and cooling was off. Found it to be a bad a/c relay.

Default Steering column recall

My 2012 Dodge journey SXT , Ran fine up until They recalled the car for steering column electrical problem. Soon after they did that repair my Bluetooth stopped working it would not connect to any phone. Soon after that the battery died. I replaced the battery had it installed that cost about $300. Within a couple days the battery was dead again. Alternator was checked the battery was checked everything was fine car would not start towed it to the dealer I told them this all started after the repair work for the steering column was done. They looked at the car and said it was an ABS sensor draining the battery. $1900 along with something else they had the fix I got my car back. 2 weeks later the car is dead again. AAA , Came jump the car ,started right up sat for 2-3 minutes and the car dies on its own. So far I have spent close to $3000 on mobile mechanics, battery tow trucks and here I sit waiting for another tow truck to take it to the dealer. They can not tell me this is not related to the work you did on my steering column.

Default starter diagnostic test?

Has the dealership completed a diagnostic test on the starting sysytem? Check out the thread titled 2010 starting issue for a Journey 2.4L . Or perhaps an electrical short near the steering column area where work was done if everything was fine before this area was touched. Let us know what is found, and good luck with this issue.

I have same problem w/2012 Journey SXT. If car sets for over 2 days battery is dead. Drive it daily - all is well. On 3rd battery in 6 months-so not battery. Had to reputable auto electrical shop and they couldn't find anything. No lights or radio on when shut off. Have not had to dealer yet. I noted someone above said something about BCM staying on. Car in driveway-key fob in house 25 ft away. Is that too close?

It's dark, so went out to chk car-all lights out. Tried something maybe stupid. Super-glued a penny to glove box door where glove box light switch hits to make sure switch is getting fully depressed. we'll see...
