Hi All,
have a Dodge Journey SXT 2009. Last week the alarm just went off for no reason a couple of times. However, this morning, the drivers door will not open! and I noticed the doors do not auto lock anymore while driving. The central locking seems to work and the locks go up and down also on the drivers door. Can someone please advise if I can try something now? Any help is so very appreciated...thanks

 

Seeing that it is a 2009 - has the wiring recall been done to it?

 

As stated, there is a recall on the door wiring harness for 09. Causes all kinds of problems.

You didn't ask for a cost when they told you it was broke?

 

No, he said he had to find out how much!

 

Then I guess you have to wait. Or jump online and start searching for the cost of the part.
