Dealer says ph and other levels in my coolant are poor
Wants $150 to do a flush. How can I find out how I can do this myself?

 

Sure you can do it yourself. Autoparts stores sell flush and fill kits for cheap. Be sure to use only the recommended coolant.

 

depending on the engine and hvac build...rear hvac... the volume needed can be 8 to 12 liters. 2 four liter jugs of non mixed from the dealer will cost $65. Then you have to pay to dispose of it and you may get air in the system if you fill without a air lift filler. For the extra $80 have them do it. Its once every 5 years... if you have hoat coolant.
