Default 2012 Journey Radio - no audio

Hey I need help! It's a 2012 Journey R/T with the smaller screen (4.3?) There is no audio even though the radio is on and displaying the source. At times turning the car off fixes the problem, but then it returns. |I have tried removing the fuse for the radio, doesn't help. I tried disconnecting both leads to the amp under the passenger seat, doesn't help. Disconnecting the battery does return things to normal, but only for a few days, then the problem is back. The problem seems to becoming more frequent. Any ideas what to do?
Appreciate your thoughts!

Default 2011 journey

I'm glad I came here and looked around. I have the large touch screen and mine just did that yesterday. I'm also looking for answers. Mine is not the uconnect model if that makes a difference.
