I have Dodge Journey SXT 2009 with separate display at top and stereo REU at the bottom. The screen stays off most of the time from few days. Suddenly gets light up and start running. While off, it looks screen has some backlight on behind but nothing displaying, even after turning off car completely. Automatically goes off after 15-30 min. I fade up with this issue, no mechanic ready to repair and people recommend not contact dodge since they either replace screen or radio. At the end problem remains unsolved. Extremely frustrating. How to solve/repair this issue?

8 year old system, probably requires replacement. Don't listen to the people telling you not to contact the dealer. Those are the ones that can properly diagnose the issue.
