2012 Dodge Journey overheating
Hello everyone
so my Dodge Journey has no heat. Was told it was antifreeze or thermostat. So I replaced the thermostat and put in new antifreeze. I have great heat now. But now the radiator fan will not come on and my car is overheating.
Any suggestions.

I had the journey running at full temp and loosened the screw to release the air on the thermostat. All I get is antifreeze coming out. Is there another way to get the air out.
My journey overheated too... you have to make sure there’s no leaks in the system. My coolant tank was leaving. To bleed your system you don’t have to touch your thermostat... leaking antifreeze from it is a bad thing. All you have to do is open up your coolant tank cap, rev your engine to 2500 rpm,
turn your heat all the way up and rev for a few. You’ll notice your coolant tank levels will go down... add more till the full when cold line.. squeeze your upper radiator hose a bit to squeeze more air out. I’ll work
