Default 2012 Journey AC doesn't work on passenger side.

The AC works in the rear and on the driver side but not the front passenger. The shop says 8 hours and $800 to fix some flap that isn't opening. Any ideas how to do it cheaper?

  • The actuators stick a lot. Tap/knock/hit it with a screwdriver while shifting the air from hot to cold and back and forth. $800 fix at the dealership, SMH

I have my lower vents partially apart. With inspection camera i can see both blend doors are moving, but passenger side doesnt look like its sealing as tight. Would that be enough to keep pass side from getting hot air?
