Default Vehicle dying

After driving for a distance, when I start to stop, the vehicle stuffers and dies? No MIL to be able to check codes so no idea what to do next!!

What are you driving? If you're driving a Model T, did you push at least two of the three pedals down? Do you have a manual transmission in your 1968 Road Runner and you forgot to push the clutch in? Seriously, there are so many different things that can cause this, you need to tell us what your vehicle is and how it's equipped.

Take it to a shop. With the limited info you are providing, it could be anything.
