Have a 2014 Journey, the rear driver side brake sometimes squeeks when driving it. ( not when braking) It may not do it for 4-5 days then it may do it off and on for 2-3 days. A few times you could actually smell the brake pads burning. Now it looks like the brakes pads on just that side are wore down alot more than the passenger side. The wheel will spin freely if you Jack it up and spin the wheel?
I have had bad calibers on other cars but they usually would just be locked up all the time and you couldn't spin the wheel freely if the went bad. Any one else experienced this or have an idea of what the problem is?

 

Pull the caliper off and lubricate the slide pins. That might help.
