I have 2011 DJ, 2.4 L 4 cylinder.
i don’t know what’s wrong with cruise control system. I checked the harness and clock spring connections, all seems ok. The surprising thing is that whenever i disconnect the battery for sometime the cruise control works for 1 or 2 days then it dies completely. I repeated it several times. If there is any harness or sccm problem then ot shouldn’t work even for one day. But looks like it has some other issue. Why it works after disconnecting battery just for 2 days!!! Anyone has any idea??

 

There is a bulletin 08-010-14 to flash update the steering column control module (SCCM) for slow or no response.
