2014 Dodge Journey P0198 code
I recently took my Journey to Midas to diagnose an oil leak after they had changed my oil. They said the oil filter housing needed to be replaced. They did that and the CEL kept coming on (it was not on before). Took it back and they said the oil pressure sensor harness needed to be replaced. Did that and then the CEL came back. Went back and the code was P0198 and they tested voltage at the oil temperature sensor (4.987volts). They said the next step required a special tool to measure the resistance of the remainder of the harness that only the dealership had access to. I'm just trying to figure out if they somehow could have messed up my car when they worked on it. Close to $1k later and my car is in worse shape than when I took it in. Any recommendations on what needs to be done? Google tells me it could be a faulty PCM or a wiring issue.
