The solution to my engine light on the dash is to replace the 2016 dodge journey motor! I bought it used two months ago. Put 1800 into it to replace all those listed above and I’m told I have to replace motor. The cam isn’t working right in cylinder one. Said it happens all the time with these motors.
I’m completely at a loss on this.
I also replaced shocks struts springs but now the two lower arms and ball joints need to be replaced they are cracked.
and the person I bought it from said they babied it!

 

And that is why I spend the money on an inspection at my go-to auto shop before I fork out money for a used vehicle. Of course the seller is going to try and tell you it's a creampuff.... Would you have bought it if they told you it needed a motor?????
