Default Electrical nightmare

Hey yall have a 2011 dodge journey with the 3.6 pentastar. It has 208000 on it. Had been getting power saver mode messages for some time, normally when the rpms hit 5 or 6. Didn't know it was a big deal. While driving at 60mph the headlight dimmed almost completely, and held the rpms at 4 or 5 and wouldn't shift down. Parked it and had it towed. Replaced the battery and pulled an alternator off an old grand caravan. Alt was correct. About 5 days later it started happening again. Lights were flickering and dimming out and at one point it shut itself off at a stop sighn. Started it up and drove it home. Live in the country and most roads are 55. Got a brand new alternator. Replaced the picked one and a new serpentine belt. Got in and the dash came on. It is a pushbutton start. Pressed the button and it just shut off. There was a clicking sound from the underhood power center box. Pulled the relay for the ign start/stop but forgot to disconnect the battery cable. Now she is completely dead. I'm fine with mechanical work but electrical is a problem. I'm at my wits end with this vehicle and looking for any ideas at all of what I could try. It shut down before I messed with the relay so that was after the fact. I also ordered the battery sensor that goes on the negative terminal but it won't be here til tomorrow. This pile of junk is all I got so I have to get it running again. Please help.and thank you.
