Cold Air Intake-Which One?

RE: Cold Air Intake-Which One?
You can do a search to read about it,
but the original 345 hp rating of the model year 2003
was a bit 'tweaked' by Dodge
supposedly because Marketing wanted a one HP per Cubic Inch.
The original 5.7 Hemi's were tested without a power steering pump
even though 99% of vehicles have PS pumps,
and the 5.7 was given an extremely harsh, high temperature
'break in' before the dyno run
that loosened up ring tension very quickly and added a few HP.
Toyota, Nissan, GM and Ford all bought early 5.7 Hemi's and dyno tested them and found that they typically made about 320-330 HP with the power steering pump on the engine and a normal break in.
