Factory Car Bra

Factory Car Bra
I finally got around to installing the factory car bra on my Magnum RT, I had to as the famous Florida love bugs are out again. They emerge twice a year here in Florida, in the spring and in the fall.
I was impressed with the fit and finish of the factory car bra, all went well, no problems. The instructions lack written step by step directions, but they give you a flow chart of pictures to follow - it went well.
Be aware if you buy the Dodge car bra, you can get it with or without a hole for the front license plate. I opted for no hole as we don't have front license plates here in Florida.
If the bra gets wet for any reason, be sure to remove it for proper drying, plus it won't cause the car paint to "fog" up or scratch.

RE: Factory Car Bra
Hey Bob, do you have any pics? I too live in Florida (Homestead) and am considering purchasing a bra for my RT. As I'm sure all of us are wondering what it looks like on. Also, we get alot of rain down here, how difficult or time consuming to remove and reinstall when it gets wet?

RE: Factory Car Bra
Once you get the car bra installed, it should take less than 5 minutes to remove it or to put it back on. Really quite easy to do.
Am not good at posting photos here, but here goes:

RE: Factory Car Bra
The price wasn't bad, I think I paid $140 or $145, with a 10% discount from my dealer.
What is nice is that the black vinyl isn't just flat material, it has a "basket weave" finish to it, look close - you might be able to see it.
I only plan to use the bra for long trips on the highway or when the @#$%$#@ love bugs come out.
