Help me with picking out some rims!
Hello, I'm waiting on my Magnum RT to be delivered and I want to upgrade to 22's on it. I found several that I like, but I'd like to get other peoples opinions and see which you like best.

#3. Although number 2 did not show up. Out of the ones that did definitely #3. Looks bad *ss.
You should know though that larger rims will hurt your cars performance. But if you are just going for the look. Any of those rims work well with the car.

Sorry, but what is so wrong with the stock 18's ?
I am not a big fan of bigger rims either.
But then I think the stock radio and speakers are okay also.
If it ain't broke - don't fix it.
Bob ........... happy with my 18" rims

What I want is the rims that were on the srt8 concept car - looks like the RT rims yet fill the wheelwell opeings a lot better
but then I also like to actually HAVE my Magnum - my dealers lack of info is not encouraging - ordered it August 3rd.

I prefer number 3 or 5.
Do you have any experience riding on such huge rims? The ride will be painful, I warn you. If the roads in your area aren't good, you might well bent a rim or two pretty fast since there will be minimal rubber protecting these babies.
Also, the amount of tire left on the rim (30 ratio instead of the 60 ration of the stock RT wheels) means you will have to get 275/30/22 tires to limit speedo and mileage errors. The problem is that I am not sure 275 width can fit on the Magnum (depends on the offset of the wheel).

They all look fine to me but as been said by others, 20's are big enough. Going with the 22's will not only make the car ride rougher, but the handling will suffer dramatically. I tried both 20's and 22's before sticking to the 20's. It still rides a little rougher than with the stock tires but not enough that anybody has complained about the ride. The wider wheels/tires DO help in handling. If you go with the 22's, you will be rubbing on the inner wheel well if you turn your wheels to lock. Granted the 22's fill the opening better but if that is what you want, then get the 20s, wait a few weeks for the new lowering springs to come out (drop the Magnum approximately 1.8 inches) and it will not only look bad *ss but will handle even better once the alingnment ireset after the spring installation. I guess, honestly, it is all a matter of what you want out of your ride. Good luck and enjoy your Magnum, no matter which route you take.
