Default Pioneer may sponsor my Magnum as demo car

I just got a note back from Pioneer this morning saying that they might be interested in sponsoring my Magnum as their 2005 Demo Car. I will keep everyone posted as this thing shakes out. This could make for a lot of really cool possibilities. More to come....stay tuned

Wow really, Man I guess all the audio stuff you had planned is out the window, since now the car would have to be 100% Pioneer. I would love to see that letter, how about posting it?

I ould like to see it too! Just to find out how you worked the deal thus far. Since I am getting mine redone by Freshrydes here in Houston with plans to show my Magnum, maybe I could get with another company to sponser mine as well, maybe say JL Audio?? Please, post the letter you sent to Pioneer as well so we can see how you got them to bite on this deal. Very interested.

Will you be able to get the paddles on the steering wheel to work the system?

Do you think an aftermarket system is a better choice?

Factory Audio System is engineered by Visteon

Click here to get to their website
This includes the UConnect, I believe.

I think the Nav system is by Alpine, who may be the integrator of both systems.

I am still waiting on a response back with some kind of contrct from them. I had a car about 10 years ago that they donated some stuff towards so I emailed someone I knew and he got the ball rolling. It is still far from a done deal, but it is an interesting prospect, so I posted a blurb. I will know more b the end of the week.
