Default Visor Decals - Removal

I just used my hairdryer to heat up those nasty decals on the visors, they come off quite easily when heated up. I was all set to paint over those suckers, until someone told me to use a hairdryer. Be careful not too use too much heat - burn your fingers or stretch the vinyl on the visor.

On my Ford, the visor material was cloth and those decals were either painted on or embossed. You could not remove them, so I painted over them.

Try it,

Bob

That's what I do on my cars too, I hate those things in my face when the sunvisors are down.

Thanks for the tip...I asked the dealer how to do it and they couldn't tell me anything except it was illegal for them to do it.

My salesman did help remove their stupid Uncle Sam Dealer Logo! Thanks Jim!!! Banana Wax works great.
