Rented a Magnum over the wknd. - an SXT with the 3.5L V-6 engine. Nice car.

However, I noticed something different from other newer Dodge vehicles.

When the signals are used, the corresponding headlight stays on.

In other vehicles, like the Caravan, the headlight next to the activated signal light shuts off when used.

Can anyone comment on why this is?

I have never noticed this. Makes me wonder what my lights are doing at that time. I will check mine out.

My 2006 Magnum SXT daytime running lights will shut off to which ever side I am signalling. But with the night time lights on it does not. That is in Canada though don't know about the USA vechicals though

 

i noticd that in my magnum when my daytime running lights are on and i'm behind a car i can see the headlight go out when i'm signaling lol
