Default 0-60 Timer Reset

Anyone know how to reset the record time on the 0-60 timer? I got wheel spin so now it shows a 2.16 time which I would like to reset so it can be used as I add upgrades.

On a different note, is there any way to disable the "black box" recorder? I hate the idea that a data recorder on my car could be used against me.

Birdman,
What Year and Model Magnum do you have? There should be an option to reset all in your Computer Display under the Speedometer... My 05 doesn't have the Top Speed, 1/4 Mile Timer, 0-100 / 100-0 Timer or the 0-60 Timer on it... You should be able to select Reset on the screen and toggle through the menu with the Stereo Controls on the Steering Wheel. Let us know!

Trip A odometer-- Trip B odometer --0 - 60 timercan be reset one at a time or all at once.

The EVIC trip computer features several functions that can be reset. Pressing and releasing the FUNCTION SELECT button once will clear the resettable function currently being displayed. Reset will only occur if a resettable function is currently being displayed. To reset all resettable functions, press and release the FUNCTION SELECT button a second time within 3 seconds of resetting the currently displayed function (>Reset ALL will be displayed during this 3 second window).
The odometer is displayed at the bottom of the screen. If warnings exist, they will replace the odometer in the display. The driver can scroll to view information in the EVIC by using the SCROLL buttons

here is my best 0-60 time.

I have an '07 R/T. I have tried resetting the record time log, but it doesn't respond. I can clear and reset everything else--maybe this isn't considered a resettable function. Or maybe I'm missing something. I'll try again next time I'm home, maybe this weekend. I was going to try disconnecting the battery next.

I have an '07 R/T. How did I miss that option? It looks like fun. Did you have to do something special to get to it or enable it?

Press and hold the music button and compass button on your steering wheel for 20 seconds and a new menu comes up. Scroll through to the timer. My salesman showed me because its not in the owners manual.

I've got an '05 R/T and have this. I just hold the buttons down for about six seconds to get the new screen. Assuming you have the EVIC display, you should be able to do this, too.

What buttons? I pressed the music and compass button and it gets me oil press, and other things, but no 0-60, 1/4 type info.

Sorry about the bad info. I don't get 0-60 time on my '05 R/T. I had an '07 300 loaner and it had the 0-60, that was what I was thinking of.
Anyone know if there's a software-only fix to get the 0-60 timer on the '05 ?
