Hey,
It's all in the manual too. My friend had some trouble with his menu controls so he brought his Charger R/T into the dealership. They changed all the options for him free of charge and said most dealerships would do the same. As soon as I heard that I brought my Magnum in and they did the same for me. If you get fed up trying to do it yourself just stop by your local Dodge dealership and they should do it all for you. Some pretty neat Daimler-Chrysler computers they have there to program everything!

Yes you can disable it. You will need to go to a dodge dealership and ask an advisor to let a tech hook up a starscan compuer. That is the only tool that can edit the on board software that controls that system.
