Default Oil Question

Just wondering on your thoughts of 5W-20 oil? Just got a '05 Magnum with low km's and not to sure I like oil that light. Will be going to change it to synthetic oil my next oil change, not to sure what type I will be changing it too though. Any thoughts on that too?

the very thin 5W-20 oil is needed to make the MDS lifters work correctly. the heavier oils will not flow in and out of the MDS lifters fast enough. i was using mobil 1 5w-20 synthetic.

Use Amsoil 0W-20 https://www.amsoil.com/storefront/asm.aspx.

Dodge says use 20 so that MDS works correctly. High quality oil protects the engine - not high viscosity!!
