How The Hell Do Ya Replace the Headlights?
Well, from first look, it appears the passenger side shouldn't be a big problem but the driver side is a b***h. Have to remove the air box and possibly even the power steering fluid box to get to it easily. Are you changing to HID or Xenon bulbs?
No, I don't even have mine yet. I rented one over the weekend and was looking it over. I noticed that and thought "H*LY FUKC" This looks impossible. Thought it might be a way the Corp looks out for the dealer to make money on a repair. I am wating for the SRT-8 to come out next year...BUT MAN doesn't that look like a Pain in the ( I ) <~~~ that is an ***
The pass. side is easy, the drivers side you have to take the whole air box out w/filter, one bolt & hose clamp. Next push little retainer clip on the powersteering pump mounting bracket towards the engine and wiggle and pull up on powersteering pump and move to the side. now you can get to the bulbs. Watch which way they turn to come out and do the reverse going in

Can you say..................GO TO DEALER?
On my 96' Impala SS, to replace passenger side bulb, you had to remove battery or loosen hold down clamp and tilt battery.
OUCH!

Bob...come on....Go to the dealer to replace a headlight? That's like saying go to the dealer when your gas tank runs low. Replacing a headlight shouldn't be this difficult.
Well, got them in with a couple of [sm=smiley35.gif] bruised knuckles in the process. Pass side was simple, driver side was difficult but doable, even with with my Neanderthal hands and difficult hip. Only took about 30 minutes to change them all so no big deal. Just have to be careful with the power steering reservoir. Just a little sip after it was over [sm=icon_guiness.gif] and all was well again! [sm=icon_rock.gif]. Also had the wife pick up my new floormats with DODGE embroidered on them and MOPAR locking gas cap. All I can say is SWEET!!! THe mats are way superior to the standard mats and well worth the $$. Later!! Going to get my stitches out today and find out when the Doc will OK me to start driving again.
