Last month I traded my 03 Dakota 4.7 V8 for an 07 Magnum SXT. I never had a problem with my Dakota, but I drove the Magnum twice, and I was sold. And with gas rising above $3 a gallon, I couldn't justify the MPG of the Hemi. I was impressed(surprised) at the quality of fit and finish, the quiet ride, the leather interior. It feels like it's put together well, and it's fun to drive...even for a 6 cylinder. And the car still turns heads. The day after I picked up the car, my son and I were eating at a restaurant, and a couple was walking around my new Magnum checking it out.

The car is stock...for now. But it's just begging to be customized. And three weeks after getting the car, I read it's been discontinued after 2008. So now I'm driving a classic...if I can hold onto it for 20 years...and keep my son away from it.
