Default Question about Seats and lowering R/T AWD

Greets all: 2 questions.
1. Is it possible to swap out the Driver and Passenger seats of an 06 Magnum R/T AWD with those from a 2007 R/T? My current seats are the semi-comfy leather 8-way powered seats withseat warmers and adjustable foot-pedel switch. While these are nice, I constantlyfeel as though I slide around in them when cornering. I'd perfer the 07 R/T performance seats with the high-bolsters for a more comfy fit. Is it possible to order these R/T Performance Package seats aftermarket and would they just "bolt in" to the current setup? I am attaching an images of seats. I have the light-gray on the left, and would like to have the ones on the right.

2. I also have the R/T AWD that came with the Tow-package and the self-leveling system. Is it possible to replace the Stock springs / suspension setup with a slightly lowered setup with affecting how the self-leveling system operarates?

Any thoughts on this would be much apperciated.

Default RE: Question about Seats and lowering R/T AWD

Regarding #2,I have an AWD Mag but have no intentions of lowering it. From other discussions I've read, some have usedK&W V2s,Ground force, and Eibachs lowering springs made for AWD Mags. Butpeople have noted thatthe handling is slightly rougher on rough roads but corners feel much more glued to the road. Lowering 1.2 inches front and 1.3 inches rear would bring it a tad lower than the RWD. Also, once you use lowering springs, depending on how low you go, you can potentially expect problems with your shocks not having enough travel/literally pounding them to pieces. Someone mentioned that therearlowering springs (don't know which one or maybe all of them) do not work with the Nivomats(self leveling shocks). Unless you mod them.

The K&W V2scan be adjusted for ride height and shock valving at all four corners.

I recently traded my 05 Magnum R/T, for an 07 Magnum R/T with the Performance pkg. I did it mainly for the Lifetime warranty. But man what a difference on the seat comfort. The handling is superb....i try to turn hard corners fast while the wife is in the car...and she doesnt even notice...like she normally would. Those seats really tuck you in and warm you up with the suede trim. As far as the Suspension upgrade (think it includes a swaybar) see if the dealer sales the perfomance pkg suspension so you can install. I would personally recommend the trade in...its a car worth keeping and restoring in the future...why not have the unmatched Lifetime Powertrain Warranty...(while it still last).

Peace out

I bet they interchange. I have a new '07 RT R/T with the performance seats. Dual power, dual heat, and foot switch. I know what you mean about sliding around with the '06 standards; I agree with 2k7RT that these Road and Track seats tuck you in and the micro-fibre suede is nice. I could probably be persuaded to trade them and the 20" wheels for the '06 dual heat, dual power leather seats and 18" wheels from the AWD. Give me the comfort, I'll give you the performance and looks. These seats are what I'd call black with red stitching and look very cool. Only trouble is I'm really looking for the dark gray full leather seats to trade for these Road and Track seats. Anybody close to me in northern Illinois?
