You were way more kind than I would have been about the MDS operation causing RPM's to drop. (LOL) Moron's should not be allowed to drive and own cars.
Very nice Pogue.
You only have 4 posts under your belt and one of them is an attempted insult to a fellow member.
Glad to have you aboard. <--- that's sarcasm just incase your not gettin' it!

I notice a slight change in the exhaust "sound." I have a modified exhaust though. It may not be apparent in stock exhaust.
I have to wonder though: Why does it matter? If you step on the gas, the MDS goes off and your V-8 Hemi power is there to use.
Keeping a steady speed on the interstate, at 70 mph, I enjoyed mid-to-high 20's in MPG.

Moron's: This implies a possessive. So, you were referring to someone named Moron?
Otherwise, the word," Morons" would be used, without the apostrophe, indicating that you are insulting a fellow memberof this forum. There's no need for that.

Not that this helps (^^ they pretty much covered it all ^^)
I read that the 08's come with an MDS indicator light. It's about time.
If they do, I haven't found it. *goes off to RTFM... again*
Only place I've found, so far, is on the EVIC, there is a screen for "Average Gas Milage". When the MDS is active, it says "Fuel Saver Mode", and doesn't when the MDS is not active.
I have a 2008 R/T.
I wonder if there are different versions of the EVIC too?

When ever the conditions are right for it.
There is no 1 point that can be a pinpoint.

Probably has to do with throttle demand, road conditions (i.e. inclined or level), things of that nature.
I have felt it kick in and work when doing 25 mph through my neighborhood and also when cruising at 75 mph on the freeway.
