Default Intermittent washer control

Hi all,

Once ina while when I turn on the wipers and set to one of the intermittent speeds my wipers go like there were on full. conversely sometimes I will put them on full and they don;t go at all.

anyone else have this issue and know if there is a TSB or if the dealer is aware of these sorts of electrical gremlins??

I post here before going to the dealer cause I love to have the answer before they feed me a line of BULL$hit.

I had this problem too, but my car was out of warranty. But mine got worse in that the whole stalk broke, so I bought a new one and replaced it myself.

However the new one is doing it now occasionally too. Woohoo.

edit: the stalk didn't break because of any manufacturing defects. It broke because a large object impacted with it

I had this issue early and took it to the dealer and it was corrected (replaced the switch) under warranty.
Don't know it there is a TSB on it or not.

Oh it's been a while so I don't know if I remember correctly... I want to say expensive, relatively, around $80? Afraid I'm not too much help there.
